One Arm Handstand Intensive

A 4-Sunday intensive to refine your one arm handstand with focused, in-person coaching.

Step into an expert-led intensive with handstand coach Amanda Lee, designed to refine your one arm handstand with precise, professional coaching.

Across four in-person sessions in Melbourne, you’ll break down key technical concepts, build body awareness, and work through structured progressions with expert coaching.

Every participant will finish the intensive with a clear, personalised training plan, so you can continue progressing long after the intensive ends.

Intensive Details:

  • 4 x 2-hour in-person training sessions

  • Personalised training plan provided at the end of the 4 sessions

  • Limited to 10 spots

  • $399.00 total intensive fee (4 sessions — $99.75 per session equivalent)

  • Entry prerequisite: 60-second freestanding two-arm handstand hold, or coaches and experienced practitioners developing their one arm handstand. If you don’t yet meet the hold requirement, this is still a fantastic opportunity to focus on theory and observation to build strong foundations from the start!

    While prior one arm experience is not required, a 60 second, two-arm freestanding handstand is a recommended prerequisite.

    If you cannot yet hold a consistent 60 second two-arm freestanding handstand, this intensive is a great opportunity for you to focus on theory and observation to set strong foundations from the very beginning of your journey.

  • Yes. You’ll receive a personalised training plan at the end of the intensive, designed to support your continued progress beyond the 4 sessions.

  • Yes. This intensive is also designed for coaches and movement professionals looking to deepen their understanding of one arm handstand training, progressions, and coaching methodology.

    No handstand prerequisite is required for coaches.

  • Each class follows a structured format: warm-up, focused training, and cool-down.

    You can expect:

    • A targeted warm-up to prepare the body for one arm work

    • A main training block with technical breakdowns, drills, and progressions

    • Hands-on coaching and real-time feedback throughout

    • A cool-down to consolidate the session and support recovery

    • Clear focus points to guide your training between sessions

    Each class builds on the last, helping you develop strength, control, and consistency week by week.

  • Each session runs for 2 hours and includes a structured warm-up, technical training, drills, and a cool-down.

  • All sessions are led by expert handstand coach Amanda Lee. Each class is delivered with hands-on guidance, individual feedback, and a structured approach to help you progress efficiently.

  • Yes. This is a structured 4-session intensive, and each session builds on the last. To get the full benefit of the program, attendance at all 4 sessions is strongly recommended.

    If you can’t attend all sessions, you’re still welcome to join as long as you attend as many as possible, however enrolment requires booking the full series.

    If you miss a session, the fee still covers the full intensive and it cannot be refunded or transferred.

  • Each session builds on the last, so consistent attendance is important. If you miss a session, it cannot be made up or refunded, and may impact your progression through the intensive.

    Please note: refunds are not available and bookings are non-transferable, including in cases of illness or injury.

  • No. This is a structured 4-week intensive program, and spots are only available as a complete package. Each session builds on the last, so attendance across all 4 sessions is strongly recommended to ensure proper progression and results.

  • What to bring to class with you:

    • Wear comfortable training clothes

    • Bring layers for warm-up and cool-down

    • Drink bottle and a snack

    • Notebook for notes (optional)

    • Phone if you’d like to film your drills (optional)

    • The workshop will be taking place on the floor. If you would like to use blocks, you will need to bring your own, as they will not be provided

  • Parking is available at the front of the studio.
